The ceramic work of Vancouver Island potter Jane Murray-Smith features unique and eclectic raku, horsehair & feather, saggar, and stoneware pottery.

Her raku work includes animal masks, large animal sculptures, animal ornaments, custom pet portraits, large wall pieces, tiles, lamps as well as assorted vases. 

Examples of custom dog cookie jars and urns can be found in the stoneware gallery alongside garden art, fountains, and lanterns as well as everyday table and kitchen ware.

Her work is sold primarily through Pyromania Pottery in Coombs. Her work is also found at her home gallery, The Phoenix Gallery of Glass and Ceramic Art which she shares with husband glass artist Christopher Smith of Glaskrafter Art Glass.
